I'm trying to import an old Centos 5 VM from ESXI 6.5 and am having trouble with it. When the imported VM boots, it fails to start with the following error::
Then it has a series of errors related to things like:
mount: could not find filesystem '/dev/root'
setuproot: error mounting /proc
setuproot: error mounting /sys
My guess is that this is an issue with how the logical volume is mapped to the device. Is this a common problem? Is there a work around or better way to migrate the VM?
Unable to access resume device (/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01)
