Hello,

a lightning destroyed my complete IT-Infra.

I started with PROXMOX and I wanted to import the data from my old ESXi disks.
The old hardware is destroyed so i have no "old ESXi-Infra" anymore.

My idea was to add the old ESXi-Disks to the new PROXMOX-Infra and import the data direct.

I can see the ESXi-Disk under the menue disks in PM but I am not able to mount them in any way that I can create a directory to access the vmdk-files.

I tried:
https://www.nakivo.com/blog/mount-vmfs-datastore-in-linux-windows-esxi/
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/moving-from-esxi-to-pve-with-an-existing-zfs-pool.117679/

Is there a way to get the data from the old ESXi disks?

Best Regards
Ferengie
