Hello,

I am trying to import a CSR1000V .qcow2 image and boot a VM from it. Is this possible to do?

I followed this direciton and had no issues importing the image
https://mangolassi.it/topic/21751/import-a-qcow2-into-proxmox

I removed the harddrive i created when I made the VM and attached my imported drive. It will not recognized it and boot from it. Just endlessly tries to PXE boot.

I tried setting the drive to both SATA and SCSI. Is there a setting in proxmox I am missing?

Thank you

oh man, 5 seconds after posting this I found what I missed. When deleting the old drive, the boot option for scsi became unchecked. I had to recheck it and all is well. Theres an hour of my life gone.

Thanks
