I am failing to set up the basic network connection for an HP iLO Amplifier Pack on a proxmox VM


I am not receiving an address via DHCP, and unfortunately, manual address assignment also fails. Other machines work without any issues with the network bridge. I have also tried all network card models. Does anyone have an idea?

Could it be possible that the network card model needs to be correctly selected during installation? I had Virtio during the installation, but I read that one should use the Intel E1000E.
 
yep, so far tried changing adapter model and tried all combinations of it + dhcp on and off with no results
 
Yes, somehow no one can help. It seems to be a problem with the amplifier. Unfortunately, there’s no access to the underlying Linux system in the background. I previously ran it on Hyper-V without any issues, but I replaced that Hyper-V setup with Proxmox, and since then it no longer works. In the end, it wasn’t that important to me anymore because I don’t have that many servers.

Maybe you’ll have more luck, and I can participate as well…
