Hello everyone,

I have a little problem on my Proxmox cluster, at times it happens that the whole cluster is restarted because of the fencing.

Currently I have 10 machines on a first Nexus switch and 1 other machine on a second Nexus switch.

During a flap of the link between the two Nexus all the nodes have reboot invoking fencing.

I notice that igmp snooping is disabled on my switches. Can that be the reason ?

The doc says we have to activate it with the igmp snooping querier but I don't have the option on my Nexus's.

Sincerly,
Jordan

Yes you should always turn igmp snooping on, to reduce the traffic on you network.
And yes it can happen depend on your network topology that loop protection kill a link.
