IBM DS3500 as Shared Storage

Any one else using one of these as a shared storage device? I would like to utilize it in a 2 node cluster and present it over serial. We have no plans to add more than two nodes so I would prefer to stay away from iscsi or fiber.

If you use LSI controller to join the DS3500 with RDAC support, you must set BIOS SAN as follow link:

Doesn't this only apply if I plan on using it as a SAN. Looking to connect it with serial. I appreciate the input!
