I/O error caused by USB that was removed

I keep getting these errors repeatedly due to a USB drive being removed. When I first installed Proxmox I wasn't getting the error but then it started a couple weeks after, long after the usb drive was actually removed. I tried to remove the USB from the disk but it keeps saying things like "disk not found"
