Hi

I am getting tired of trouble with Proxmox.

I tried to restore from NFS - it bombed out with a 'time out'.

So I SSH-ed into the machine, and it resulted in a 'time out' error.

I did a hard reset (unable to log in, via KVM)

So I have gone and did apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

All was smooth sailing during the upgrade.

But now, I still can't access the web gui?

ANY/ALL help appreciated!

Only time I've seen a time-out error with NFS is where this was existing network difficulties, or a misconfiguration. Is it possible to hook directly to the machine and work on the local console, or else get into it via IPMI or something? Take the network out of the equation.

Network is now out of the equation. I can't access the web-gui ....

PS. in the 'access.log' file, there are no new entries, and the owner/group is now root:root????

Problem solved. for SOME reason it was changed (and I did not do it!) - changed it to www-user:www-user and voila, it is working!
