Hi @all,

I've changed my test box from ESXi to PVE. I used a QLogic adapter for my network, but I can't get it to work with PVE.

It doesn't show up as a network device: dmesg | grep -i eth

Does anybody have a hint for me?

Thanks

I know, but as it is a Converged Network Adapter (05:00.0) it could do TCP as well. It worked already at the ESXi installation. The only thing I don't know is how to activate this. I already tried to load the qlcnic and also deactivated the qla2xxx without success.

Thanks, seems that I don't have to look after the qlcnic anymore.

But I still don't know how to activate this cards as a network card. As mentioned before, it worked with ESXi. I think Proxmox is more open, so there should be a solution. I'm only too blind/stupid to see.

this would be sad, disposing 3 working cards was not in my mind. It's also difficult to get new cards here for a reasonable price. After checking some other threads the only cards that are recommended are Broadcom ...
