I need to temporarily mount NTFS disk from another physical Windows server to Windows Server 2008R2 running in VM under Proxmox 6, so that I can return the disk to physical Windows server.
How to connect such a disk to proxmox and then make a VM with Windows Server available?
The basic condition, the disk must go sequentially easily returns to the physical Windows server

Thank you

Hi,
what you could try to do is to create a raw image of the disk using `dd` under proxmox and import that to the Windows VM.

Unfortunately could not the software package on the disc is bound to the serial number of the HDD and the price of the license is crazy.
