Hi everyone,
Can I ask is there a way to restore the vm on the old proxmox, if my proxmox dies there is no way to get the config file. Are there ways to set up for the case like I described if in case there is no backup system?

hi,

you can easily restore backups of VMs on a PVE node.

if my proxmox dies there is no way to get the config file. Are there ways to set up for the case like I described if in case there is no backup system?
how do you mean exactly?

you should take backups on a separate storage, that way if your PVE server goes down/breaks/gets destroyed in a fire etc., you can install a new server and restore the backups from the shared storage. you can take a look at our documentation [0] for backup/restore.
