How to restore a deleted backup

Good morning, dear friends.
I tried to restore a backup and instead of clicking the Restore button, I clicked the Remove button. I suggest that developers change the name to DELETE.
My question is, can I recover a backup that was deleted from PBS?

When deleting a backup snapshot, you will get asked for confirmation. Not sure if renaming this to delete will help much here.

My question is, can I recover a backup that was deleted from PBS?

This depends. Do you have the same snapshot synced to an offsite location, do you maybe have a zfs snapshot still containing the backup snapshot? Otherwise I am afraid you are out of luck, restoring a backup is only possible with it's index files.

OK, thank you for your attention, my friend.
I don't have a snapshot synchronized in an external location. I'm going to go back to an older backup.
