When I have the Proxmox Web GUI active and I right click on a running VM, I am given the Console option, which brings up a console running noVNC in a browser. How can I replicate this experience for a remote web user?
Here is process I would like:
1. A remote user connects to my running Proxmox instance using a web browser.
2. Proxmox asks for their user id and password.
3. Because the remote user will be a "mere" user, a new browser window appears running noVNC and they are connected to the console of the running VM (it will be Windows, but it could be anything).
4. The remote user now logs on to the remote VM (Windows).
5. Other than Proxmox's login screen, the remote user never sees the Proxmox console (because they are in the role of "mere user").
I'm trying to avoid the user having to install and use a separate RDP client and I'd like the user to pass through a "gate keeper" before seeing the VM.
Can I do this using the Proxmox VE Authentication Server? If so, how?
