How to re-trigger symlink and related generated files? ceph/otherwise

I have two nodes in a cluster which mount Ceph over the network, but that mounting is broken and I cannot remount as /etc/ceph/ does not have the symlink in it and the keyring file. A third node that is roughly configured the same was in the same state until it was rebooted.

Ceph itself is ran and served by 3x nodes in the cluster.

I have been trying to find a way to re-trigger the Proxmox VE environment to recreate these aspects (symlink and the keyring file) without rebooting the Proxmox VE node. Restarting all the services in the webGUI did not trigger the re-creation. And I cannot find anything online saying the "correct" way to do this.

I do not want to manually create the symlink or anything like that, as I want to rely on the automation that clearly happens during boot.

So... how do I go about doing this without rebooting said nodes?

I'm probably going to have to reboot them anyways as I doubt I'll have a response in-time for this (which sure, that's life), but I'm asking for "future me" and other future humans.
