Hi all,

I have a local disk system on which I have created a number of VMs. Now I have configured access to the SAN and I want to move the VMs onto the SAN.

This is quite important as the other nodes in the cluster only have access to the SAN - is there an easy and foolproof way to do this? It appears that proxmox creates one new lvgroup for each machine - do I have to replicate this manually?

Yes. You can use 'pvesm alloc .." to create LVs. Then use dd to copy the files (only works with 'raw' format).
