how to migrate historical backups from one pbs to another?

I am trying to migrate from one pbs to another and decommission the old one.

I created a sync job for each namespace and started the sync's, but it didn't migrate all the backups and now when I try to sync it says there are no backups newer than the newest local backup and refuses to do anything.

how do I get the rest of my data across?

Hi,

allowing to sync over snapshots older than last present one in the group is not allowed for security reasons.

Best is to create a new, empty namespace and sync the whole root namespace from the remote (chunks are de-duplicated on a datastore level, so only not yet synced chunks will be adding significant storage space, as the index files themselves are rather small).
