HOW TO INSTALL IPFIRE IN PROXMOX

Hello folks,
I recently discover IPFire and i want to install it in my new dedicated in Hetzner. I try it from youtube and the wiki but i can’t find a solution. I have EX62-NVME with one NIC. I installed proxmox and i created 2 VNIC (vmbr0 vmbr1), i run the installer and i think i doing something wrong. Can somebody to explain to me how to procced??? The bridge settings conf. ???? RED and GREEN network settings??? please SOS

what error do you get from the installer? if it works on debian it should also work in PVE
 
Hi Alexandros,

i used the virtio Network-Card without problems. Only on the RED-Interface you must choose the DHCP-Option, with MTU 1500!
For the additional IP you have to request a MAC address, this can be done easily in the Robot menu of Hetzner. You then enter this MAC address for the network card that is then connected to the vmbrX.
Otherwise the traffic from the IPFire is filtered away directly from the Hetzner switch and the port is blocked.
