Hi to all!

Following the topic that I've posted on Arch Linux forums --> here , I've come here to Proxmox forum, to be advised about that same topic question.

How to enforce the usage of uas on uas-equipped-hardware?

Note: This is my first post here, and any help would be appreciated!

I did not post all the information here, because, among other things, I think it would be redundant.

I will gladly disclose the needed information.

Thank you.

Hi again to all!

It's solved already.

I should have regenerated the initramfs. Which I had not...

So to sum up, I had updated the firmware of usb-to-sata enclosures, but the proxmox machine was configured (by myself, duh...) to (still) use quirks for the said devices (the other firmware did not allow for uas usage, while the new one does). Although the modprobe.d(ir) was correctly configured, the configuration was not assumed because the initramfs was still picking up the old setup.

Sorry, then, for this noobishness...

Thank you all for reading!

Cheers!
