How to check existing VM ID using API?

I need to know if certain VM ID already exists by API. How?

I'm thinking to use "HTTP: GET /api2/json/nodes/{node}/qemu/{vmid}/status/current" but no reference what are available objects returned in http://pve.proxmox.com/pve2-api-doc/.

Currently solved by checking if "HTTP: GET /api2/json/nodes/{node}/qemu/{vmid}/status/current" return any value.
