How to add local storage (harddisks)?

Hi community,

I have a server with a hardware raid controller. There are 2 Intel SSDs and 2 Western Digital HDDs attached in RAID 1.

I can't find out how how to add the HDDs in Proxmox.

I followed this article:

That didn't help me.

So I followed this one:
http://www.debiantutorials.com/add-a-second-hard-disk/
and mounted it at /var/hdd and added it in /etc/fstab.

I thought I have to add it at Proxmox -> Storage -> Add Directory -> Directory "/var/hdd".
But I only get 25.93 GB instead of 1000 GB!?

Please help me to add the additional storage, the SSDs only got 60 GB free space ;-)
