I have a question about Memory (MB) and Swap (MB). For each virtual machine you can specify the Memory (in MB) and Swap (in MB). My node has 8 GB RAM = 1024 x 8 = 8192 MB. There is only one (1) virtual machine. There will never be more than 1 virtual machine.
1. How much memory do I give it? I want to give it as much as possible. What about 7 GB = 7168 MB? That leaves about 1 GB for Proxmox. Is that OK?
2. How much swap do I give it? 2048 MB? Or 4096 MB? Or more? I don't even know what swap means. I noticed on the forums "its just swapable virtual memory. I does not have to be for a short time, but you can allow a container to use more memory if available" but I'm still wondering what I should do in my case.
