Hi I played around with proxmox clusters and figured out that I don't need to use it.
I simply shutted down a node and figured that vms did not boot anymore after a system restart. Error message waiting on other nodes.
Unfortunatly I was stupid and integrated into the cluster my main server, which is running several vms and containers. I started already to remove the nodes with this tutorial.
But it confuses me, that in the remaining nodes the cluster participant still exists, in the left menu.
So basically I want to remove the entire cluster, due to no utilization of my old main system. But I am "afraid" to proceed again with the removel of my old system, because I don't want to brick my main system due to the "waiting on other nodes" error after a reboot.
So my question is: how would you close/kill the cluster? Can I just proceed with the, in the tutorial mentioned way, and remove the last cluster participant? Or do I need to reinstall my main Proxmox server to be able to restart the proxmox server ever again? I am not sure how proxmox will behave here.
best regards
