How do I close a VM xterm.js console from another location?

Hi. I'm new to PROXMOX VE and I like it.

I access the running VMs console from home and work, some times I forgot to close a xterm.js console, and when I try to open it again from the other location, I can't connect.

I understand that a serial console can only have one active connection... but is there a way to close the running xterm.js console from the command line or GUI from another location so that I can open a new working console from another location? I don't have remote access to the PC running the console.

When I try to stop the console from the log panel, it looks like the remote web browser reopens the connection... so it ends up running the console from the remote location again...
