Two common methods I used for migrating VM from VMware ESXi to Proxmox:
Convert the Disk: You can use qemu-img to convert the .vmdk file from ESXi to a Proxmox-compatible format like .qcow2. Then just copy it over to your Proxmox server and create a new VM with the converted disk.
Backup and Restore: Use backup software to back up your VM from ESXi, then restore it to Proxmox.
