[SOLVED] How can we effectively utilize the snippets content type in storage?

There is a snippets option in the storage content type settings.
When I enabled this option and accessed the snippets in the target storage, I could only see a list of files stored in the snippets/ directory and delete them.
In other words, I can only delete stored snippets - how can this option be utilized effectively?

Additionally, are there any planned feature additions for the future?I checked the Roadmap but couldn't find anything.
I think it would be convenient if features like snippet uploading, editing, and scheduling were available through the GUI.

The snippets storage type is required to use hookscripts. These scripts must be uploaded by root only via cli (i.e. ssh). There is a more detailed explanation here [1].
