Hey all,
I hope somebody can help me.
I have a Beelink EQ14 Mini PC with Intel N150 running a simple Proxmox environment with 1 Debian VM and 1 PBS VM.
The PBS VM has an USB SSD attached which is bind into it via assigning the USB Device directly to the VM.
In PBS it is a simple ZFS single pool (wanted to maybe later build a raid out of it with 2 USB SSDs).
The Debian VM getting backed up daily to that disk via PBS (for compression, dedup etc.)
This worked since I set this up like a charm.
On the 08.01. I updated from 9.1.3 to 9.1.4. The first incremental backup afterwards was successful, but after the backup finished it seems like the host crashed and rebooted. Since then no backup is working anymore.
The backup starts and the host seems to crash and reboot from what I can see from the logs.
Until it crashes everything seems to be really fine.
What I tried so far:
changing the USB SSD to another one and starting a new backup chain -> same problem
changing to older 6.17 or 6.14 kernel -> same problem
binding in the SSD to the host itself and backup directly to it without using PBS -> same problem
Even a verify job executed on the PBS on this disk will crash the host.
The Mini PC is 1 month old and the SSDs are working fine on other systems.
I really hope somebody can assist me, I'm currently stuck
EDIT:
When the host crashes the USB afterwards is just shown as the following:

When I unplug it and replug it, it's showing totally normal.

SSD was tested on other Linux system and showing no S.M.A.R.T. errors
I hope somebody can help me.
