High Postfix memory & cpu utilization

Postfix is using an inordinate amount of resources. Where should I start looking for the cause of this situation:

is there anything out of the ordinary in the syslog/mail.log/journal ?

I am getting quite a few " 451 4.3.0 Error: queue file write error ", I am having trouble tracking down the cause.

In a plain old postfix environment, disk space would cause that for me, not sure if you are low on space.
Either data or logging drives ( assuming they're different )
And now that I remember, also security on the folders being postfix.
