Hi all,

Restoring a VM to a production environment which has two hosts and a 10GB iSCSI Dell MD SAN.

I noticed the IO delay on the host goes up to 80-90% -- is this normal?

Thanks!

hmhhh .... apparently IO is the bottleneck ... it "smells" like Something with the worker ... does the worker "lives" on SAN as well? I would first try to put the Worker on a DAS SSD .... then try to restore to SAN

The worker VM is located on local SSD storage.

The restore failed at the end too with this error:

Error
SRV-DATA : Connection timed out. Unable to finalize job session on backup server.

interesting (sadly). clearly IO buffers up to "Deadlock" .... hmhhh. My advise: open a ticket at VEEAM. P.S.: For me "Something" saturates the SAN link, but what. You could "play" with buffers but this a long exercise.
