High Cpu Vm

When not ssh connect to my vm, increase cpu to 50%, 70% also when connect to ssh in vm cpu reduce drastically to 6% 4%, latest Version of Proxmox and Quemu Tools, vm is Ubuntu 22.04 and Alma Linux 8

Are those VMs public facing? Not that they got compromized with some crypto miner that pauses when someone logs in to be longer undetected.

It's públic, how uninstall!?

I would try to log what processes are causing the CPU load when not logged in and check the logs if you see anything suspicious. In case its compromized, the only thing you could do is destroying those VMs and starting from scratch with better hardened security.
