High Apply Latency on HP G7 380dl

We have a strange problem where we have ceph OSD high apply latency on one HP G7 380dl. The commit time is low. This is a 3 node setup using Proxmox 4.4. The other two servers are HP Gen8 and they do not have the issue. All of the disks are the same in each server (5 x SAS disks in each server)

We have tried removing the OSD's on all servers and re-adding them and the same issue is present. The G7 server is using on onboard P410 card and we have tried a different raid card and the problem still exists.

Has anyone seen this problem before or has any pointers i can have a look at.

Update - we have reloaded the G7 DL380 again and ran through the setup process. There are no errors in the logs but yet when we create the OSD's the high apply latency shoots up on the G7 - the Gen8's are fine. The drives on the G7 are using RAID0 per disk. We have tried different RAID card and still the problem exists. All servers have separate network switch for the CEPH replication and there are no port errors on the network switches.

I am beginning to think it is something specific to the G7 DL380 - does anyone have any ideas of what i could check ?
