Hello,
I just bought a dedicated machine from Hetzner, I have installed Proxmox, I have ordered KVM Console I am doing the configuration.
I have a virtual machine with Mikrotik with two interfaces, one interface to the bridge that has assigned the physical interface of the dedicated server and the second interface of the mikrotik is assigned to the vmbr1, to access through the Hetzner KVM Console by ssh from the host node to the mikrotik, I try to configure the public IP as configured by Hetzner on the host node and it does not work.
For the curious ones, the idea is to access the Mikrotik via VPN and this Mikrotik will have access to the bridge that gives access to the Proxmox network.
I have enabled proxy_arp and ip forward but it does not work. I know that Hetzner filters the IP by MAC.
Something to add is that with the IP configured in the virtual machine, from the host-node I see traffic with tcpdump, the problem is the output to the internet.
Any idea?
Thanks,
