i have a vm (id 214) that whenever i try to
Bash:
cp
the disk or clone it or make a backup of the vm i get all I/O related errors, i tried running
Bash:
badblocks
and
Bash:
fsck
both on the storage drive and inside of the VM but no luck.

Anyone has ideas?

Backing storage for the VM disk might be going bad. Run a SMART long test and prepare to restore the VM from backup; you might need to replace the physical disk

SOLVED: one singular SAS drive of the entire array of good drives was making the raid controller flag them all as bad and then slowing them down, replaced it and now works
