HI im new to proxmox and seem to be running into a few issues

My specs are
Dell R720
Intel Xeon 3.5ghz x2
128gb ram
3tb SAS drives set up as virtual raid 0 with idrac x8
PERC H710 controller
Everything is updated and running stock firmware

My goal is to run PVE with multiple VMs including TrueNas, Win10, Ubuntu. I would like to have TrueNas to control the on board Raid

My problems are
1. If I create Virtual disks (in the server setup) before i start instlling Proxmox i get stuck on CLEANUP ROOT-DISK will sit on this screen for at least 24hr
2. If I add virtual disks after install I get Timed out waiting for the Udev queue being empty

I can install PVE and set up all my VMs fine with no virtual disk, but as soon as i try to use the on board raid nothing works.

1. That's a secure erase selected and you didn't need that, just create new raidset and install pve.
2. That's unclear yet, install "perccli" from Dell download after installed pve --> send output from "perccli /call show".

Thanks for the reply. Im a rookie when it comes to this kind of stuff. Im not sure what you mean by "thats a secure erase selected" where do i find that option? I cant seem to find it within Dell's settings and the only option i am given during proxmox install(gui) is what format type I want to use(ext4).
