Help Needed: Proxmox VE Installation Stuck at Importing ZFS Root Pool 'rpool'

Hi Proxmox Community,

I'm experiencing an issue during the Proxmox VE 8.2-1 installation where the process gets stuck at importing the ZFS root pool 'rpool'.

But when I run zpool list or zpool status, it shows "no pools available":

Any guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for your reply. I managed to solve the issue by removing the NVMe disks from the adapter and formatting them on another machine.

I tried to erase the disks using the included tools, which reported success but didn't actually delete anything on the drives.

What would be your advice/command for deleting the pools if this ever happens again? :rolleyes:
 
Did you write the new layout? Best is rewrite mbr and create a new single partition.
