HDD passthrough Question

HI All,

I am new to Proxmox.

So What I am trying to do Is move my ubuntu media server over to vm running ubuntu server with Plex I have HDD that i need to add without formatting ( can't loss data) and HDD only needs to be on that one VM.

From what i can see is HDD passthrough is what i might need to do but i want to make sure that it will not delete my data off the HDD before i do this, or if there is another way that I am missing.

doesn't format disk, just passthrough.
notice SMART status of disk isn't passthrough.
