hardware watchdog external

Hi, i have 4 HP proliant with proxmox 4.4 and we want to use HA, hpwdt is very bug And softdog is not working good for us.i'm thinking to buy a hardware watchdog .Can you tell me any model that its working good and tested with proxmox ?

External Watchdog?
If you mean fencing devices they are not supported for now.
But your mainboard if it is an Intel based should have a iTCO_wdt (Intel Watchdog).
It is an 15 year old stable product.

No thats not working on HPservers. Yes the watchdog is there, but disabled from HP and not enableable.

so....no way. hpwdt module is very buggy and i tried with softdog, and it was very bad for me :/ however thanks for the info!!!

Yes, thats it. Softdog is the only way for hp. Maybe some other, like APC for fencing... DELL is working fine with intelwatchdog.
