I am currently trying to setup Veeam Backup for my PVE VMs and now working with Veeam Support. They found follwoing issue in the logs: e1000e 0000:80:1f.6 nic1: Detected Hardware Unit Hang
The Issue I am facing is the following:
I added the Proxmox VE host to the backup infrastructure, which installed the worker VM on that host, and created a backup job for a VM on that host. After starting the backup job, the Proxmox host becomes unreachable (Web UI, SSH, and ping) and only becomes reachable again after a hard reboot via the powerbutton. The VM on that host is still reachable and continues to work as normal.
