Hardware RAID with LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID

Hi,

I have the following RAID controller:

02:0e.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS
    Subsystem: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 8344ELP
    Flags: bus master, stepping, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 18
    Memory at de000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64K]
    Memory at de100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
    [virtual] Expansion ROM at de010000 [disabled] [size=32K]

Unfortunately, i cannot run MegaCli to verify RAID status. It only returns empty output:

host:~# /usr/src/opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -AdpAllInfo -aALL
                                     
host:~#

Anyone have experience with this RAID controller on Proxmox and know how i can fix this problem?

It seems that the same RAID controller utility runs ok on Centos/RH.

I have found a solution. Use this project ( http://hwraid.le-vert.net/wiki/DebianPackages ) and install megaraid tool. It works very well.
