Hard Drive setup questions

Ok have a few questions looking what would be best direction to reach these goals

1. Looking to have extra store just for proxmox host should I install a the HD i wish to use AFTER a new install of proxmox ?? just mount it, and fstab it as needed

2. Would like to give each GuestVM its own physical drive, but it seems proxmox wants to LVM multi disk when I first setup/install any way to have it NOT do this. should I setup then add HD's ?

3. shared storage drive, looking to have 1 drive setup as a share/swap drive between ALL systems what would be the best way todo this

Why? I'd have a RAID setup for speed and data security.

Depending on how many machines you have some people use DRDB or you could install a separate machine with something like openfiler or nexentastor with a NFS share. some users even have the share inside a VM on the proxmox box, i wouldnt recoomend it BUT depends on your usage...
