That would be a Proxmox/Ceph Cluster ... 3 Nodes would be better, but 2 is doable

Yes!

While ZFS replication is not "shared" in the classic sense, it qualifies for this use case. Of course you lose the data from the last replication point-in-time to now. If that's acceptable depends heavily on your use case. In my homelab I am fine with it. For most commercial setups it is just a strict no-go!
