HA using NFS for KVM?

Hi, I see in the documentation that is required a SAN to provide HA for KVM vm's and NFS for containers. But is not possible HA for KVM using NFS? Thanks

Seems you need a SAN to provide HA in KVM and a NFS for OpenVZ... then, NFS is not possible to provide HA in KVM??
