HA setup with ZFS Replication do not free space

Hi All,
I have a setup of a cluster with HA and using zfs replication between nodes for the VMs.
When i delete files inside the VM i do see that disk space is free up inside the VM yet the zfs pool shows no decrease in storage space.
What am i missing?
I don't have any VM snapshots other then the one used for the replication i guess.

I had to run fstrim inside the VM and once zfs replication ran again disk space was decreased.
