I wrote a guide on my blog on this subject, and wanted to share it with the Proxmox community, but I'm not allowed to share links.
I could paste it all here, but it contains links (to other resources) and images I'm not allowed to share either.

I'm not sure how to share it, but it's on my webpage kaven.no

My only suggestions would be for Pfsense best optimal performance is to pci passthrough the wan and lan eth port. Or use the srv-iov pass vf to Pfsense.

Hi Elurex
Thanks for the exhaustive blog post !
Have you had a look at https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/PfSense_Guest_Notes ? Are they things there whihc need to be updated ?

There are some hints here to do pci passthrough in the Proxmox Wiki, but it might not be up to date for the PVE 4 kernel.
