I have a new server that we are testing Proxmox on:

Dell R815 - 4x 16c @ 2.5GHz CPU, 1TB RAM, 6x 600GB HDD.

Is it possible to create a VM with more than 512GB through the GUI or can i only do it by modifying the VM file through the CLI?

Thanks

I have updated my VM to have 1TB RAM (1048576) in the 100.conf file - now i'm getting 'PANIC: early exception 08 rip 246:10' on the debian machine. (my Ubuntu refuses to boot with same config)

When i update it to 512GB (524288) it works as expected. With 756GB (786432) is works fine too.

The physical server has 1TB RAM installed although the pve console shows 995.33GB capacity
