Good morning everyone, i'm a new member here and I'm facing a probleme whith proxmox 3.4.8 and it refuses of booting it shwos me :
error failure reading sector 0X0 from 'hd2'
error failure reading sector 0X3e42002 from 'hd0'
grub rescue>

I tried to the solution in the link with defferent versions of proxmox but I always get the same probleme which is :
sudo : not found.

can anyone help me please?

Probably, if you are already the root user, you don't need sudo. Did you boot from a Proxmox VE installation disc or a Ubuntu/Debian ISO? The errors indicate (to me) a failure of your hard disks, not the kind of GRUB failure that can be fixed by reinstalling GRUB to tbe hard disk (as the WIKI describes). DO you have backups?

I don't have root user because the command su shows me unknown user root.
I booted from a Proxmox VE installation of many versions but the same error message.
Unfortunately I don't have bucks ups all what I have is backups of the machines, and they are in the machine .
I will try with ubuntu iso it may works.
I made check disk from bios and from ubuntu live cd and the same resault which is all disks look good.
