Hello all,
I ran into a problem with the GPU passthrough of my HP Elite mini 600 G9 board (i7 12700T) after updating from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS to 24.04 LTS. I cannot get it back to work, nor with a distro update neither with a clean install to a fresh VM.
Does anybody have similar problems? Is it a kernel topic? The kernel upgrades from 5.15 to 6.8

There is another topic with my GPU passthrough: On the U22.04 machine it works only via the Dsiplay Port of my HP Elite, HDMI stays black.... Any ideas out there on that issue?

Your help is highly appreciated, I could not find any solution so far in the WWW.

I experienced similar thing after upgrading kernel 6.8 to 6.14. The solution was to reinstall nvidia drivers from scratch. The passthrough resumed working after I did that.

Hi Fargo, was this on a Linux machine? I'm not sure if it can be done the same way with the intel I915 driver....
