I littered this post, and thought id clear it all up. I though it was a matter of bad drivers in one of my win guest install images but this was wrong. So starting from the beginning.

I have a MBR single disk(mounted in guest as /dev/sdb) and one GPT array virtual disk(approx 3 TB)(mounted in guest as /dev/sdc) with i try to add to a windows 7 guest.
The single disk adds up perfectly as virtio but the array is presented as an unitizialised disk and im asked to initialize the disk.
Switching to IDE on the array = works fine, partition is viewable and accessible and everything works fine. Switch back to virtio = same as above.

So my question stand, anyone know if GPT is supposed to work with larger GPT arrays? Perhaps someone knows of any othe compaibility issue?
Ive reinstalled proxmox a couple of times while testing. Always used 2.6.32 since my drives arent detected and thus dont show in in fdisk, /dev etc in 2.6.18because of the controller support probably.

I can always mount that array as virtual ide and rest as virtio. But would be nice to know if someone know why this doesnt work.
