global lock timeout to slow?

Hi all,

how log is the timeout of "trying to get global lock - waiting...", well we have many backups in the night and have the sporadically, but always the error message "INFO: trying to get global lock - waiting...
ERROR: can't aquire lock '/var/run/vzdump.lock' - got timeout".

if the timeout to slow?

You can only run one vzdump process. If you start a second one, it wait until the first one terminates.
You can set the maximal time to wait with option 'lockwait' (default is 180 minutes).

Hi, thanks for answer. But, if we have 10 Backups in same time, they run 1st, 2nd, 3rd.....10th, successively. But the last or 9th holt with this error message sporadical. We would change lockwait highter and test again. thanks
