FYI: Maintainer resignation for helper-scripts

Hi everybody,

I wasn't a big Fan of these scripts before but it seems that it still can get worse:

I feel affirmed in my opinion that these scripts are actually not helpful for beginners and they should be discouraged to use them.

Everybody can read the thread and decide their stance on it. Personally I agree with the concerns of the resigned maintainers and security-minded Posters.
They are the same ( together with their known track record for causing issues like rebooting vms every few minutes due to people running something they don't understand) why I never found them very helpful in the first place. Now I consider them actually harmful.
