Hi everyone,

is there an easy way to customize the installer with additional options, preferably without having to build-from-source the entire beast?

I would like to use github.com/xmikos/cryptboot for tpm-based-encryption (which requires an encrypted boot partition like described wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dm-crypt/Encrypting_an_entire_system#Encrypted_boot_partition_.29GRUB.29).

I guess i could manage to install this manually from debian, but the bare-metal-installer-disc is much nicer ;)

(shameless hint: This would also make an awesome feature for Proxmox 5 ;))

No, there is current no way to change the installer, but the jessie-way works also quite nice. You can install everything inside a Proxmox VE virtual machine and then copy the disk over to the real installation.
